The nightingale and the rose

Summary:

   The story is about a young student who was in love with the professor's daugther. This student was sad because the girl promised to dance with him on condition that he brought her red roses, but he didn't find any red rose. One day appeared a nightingale who tried to help the student. The nightingale only find a yellow rosebush and a white rosebush. The white rosebush helped the nightingale. The white rosebush asked for the Nightingale's blood to paint her petals, so in the night, the Nightingale while sang she approached to the thorns of the rosebush and the Nightingale's blood painted the petals of the white rose.
  The next day the student took the rose to the girl but she laughed him because another boy gave her jewels.



Characters:

*Student:
-Physical characteristics: Tall and thin.
-Psychological characteristics: kind, shy and romantic.
















*Professor's daughter:
-Physical characteristics: Beautiful, perfect smile.
-Psychological characteristics: conceited, manipulative.

*Nightingale:
-Physical characteristics: has feathers and is small.
-Psychological characteristics: Kind, gentle and brave.

Hansel and Gret


Activity 1
Answer these questions in English?
a) Who are Hansel and Gretel?

Hansel and Gretel are two childrens, they are siblings. They live in the forest in a little house with their father.

b) How does the story start?

The story start talking about a poor woodcutter who has 2 children, they live in a cottage.

Activity 2
Watch the video and listen to the story if you have headphones or read the subtitles in English.





Activity 3
Look at these pictures and write a description in English for each one of them.
 Hansel and Gretel are in the forest. The are feeling cold.

-Hansel and Gretel's father still alive. Ciderella's father is dead.

CINDERELLA

Activity 1
Write a summary of the story in English . Write at least 10 lines and include at least 10 pictures.
-The story is about a girl called Cinderella she lived with her father. Later he married to a woman who had two daughters. Then her father died and Cinderella lived with her stepmother and her stepsisters.
Cinderella's stepmother treat her cruelly. Cinderella had to clean all the  house and attend her stepmother.
One day a messenger gave to the family a invititation to the ball arrange by the king, because he was looking for a wife. Cinderella and her stepmother and her stepsisters were to the ball. The prince fell in love with Cinderella. She lost a glass slipper and the Prince picks and save it. He was looking for the owner of the slipper, and he found Cinderella. Then they married and live happily ever after.
